Cultural Program 2024

We are excited to invite the public to submit you art project proposals for this years program between September 2023 and July 2024. We welcome projects emanating from various art categories and encourage individuals and establishments to participate in this creative endeavor. This program is supported by The Cultural Participation Fund. The Cultural Participation Fund aims to encourage and increase participation in the arts and culture.

Project goals

​

 

  • All art categories are welcome, including visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, community projects, and more.

  • Projects should demonstrate relevance to building a better community and stimulating public engagement.

  • Each project should have an intended purpose and contribute positively to the local artistic and cultural landscape.

Submission guidlines

  • Interested participants can download the summary of their art project in PDF 

  • The summary should outline the project's concept, goals, and intended impact on the community.

  • Include a detailed budget, listing all necessary equipment and materials required for the project.

  • Collaborative efforts involving multiple artists or establishments are encouraged.

  • You can send us an email if you need help filling the the form.

  • Submissions must be sent via email to axumartcafe@gmail.com

  • Please ensure the subject of the email is "Art Project Submission - [Your Name/Project Title]."

Selection Process

​

  • The AXUM ART CAFE team will review all submissions and evaluate their relevance, feasibility, and potential impact on the community.

  • Selected projects will be notified and invited to discuss further collaboration details.
